2008 Mercedes SL500 by Lorinser


What you see in the photos is a true masterpiece! Developed by Lorinser and based on the face-lifted Mercedes SL 500. The new kit from the German tuning house consists in a new front bumper and front grille, new fenders in Lorinser style, side skirts, a rear trunk spoiler and a new rear bumper with new exhaust cutters as well as a new integrated air diffuser. The new RS 9 integrate perfectly to the design and give a plus of personality to the vehicle. Drivers that aren’t satisfied with potent series engines can soon look forward to an optimisation from Lorinser engineers.



Tuning: Vorsteiner CLK 63 AMG Black Widow


Once again, Vorsteiner, surprised us with a really good looking vehicle. We’re talking about the CLK AMG DTM, dubbed the ”Black Widow”! The new vehicle received a new lightweight dry carbon fiber front spoiler and a carbon fiber deck lid spoiler. The rear spoiler balances the front end out by extending the original factory rear lip spoiler design by approximately 50mm with a more aggressive wing profile to maximize down force. According to the tuner, ”the Vorsteiner DTM front and rear spoiler components has been found to drastically improve down force & aerodynamics during high speed tests at over 321km/h”.



Four Mercedes GLK COncepts to debut at SEMA


It looks like Mercedes is preparing quite a show at the 2008 SEMA due to the four concepts that will be revealed there. First of all we have the RENNtech Rally Racer, inspired by the unlimited-class rally cars at the storied Pikes Peak Hillclimb, then we have the BRABUS Widestar, developed by Mercedes-Benz tuning experts Brabus. After these we can see the Four Corners Rock Crawler and the Urban Whip, which unveiled quite a design for the X3 rival.



Lamborghini launching new model! Teaser released


Lamborghini, the Italian manufacturer released today a teaser of its new model that will be unveiled in October, at the Paris Motor Show. According to the manufacturer, the new vehicle is not just a new Lamborghini, it’s a new world, more like the beginning of a new world, we would say. Anyway, seeing the new exhaust system it is clearly the beginning of a new design line!

Ford announces already 1,000 orders for the new Focus RS


The Ford Focus RS marks a welcome return for the Rallye Sport badge and although the manufacturer didn’t release any data about the colors available or the accesories available for the vehicle, 1000 customers orders have already been placed at the Ford dealers. According to the manufacturer 40% of the applicants requested the unique Electric Green shade of the London Show vehicle.



Paris Motor Show: Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION design study


The new ConceptFASCINATION design study represents actually a preview of the future Mercedes E-Class, underlining the new design of the German manufacturer. Mercedes refreshed with this concept the term of “shooting brake” creating a vehicle category with its own distinctive charisma. Regarding the technology used, Mercedes used only the latest things such as LED technology and the new four-cylinder diesel engine which features BlueTEC and AdBlue technology is capable to develop 204 hp from a displacement of 2.2 litres, just like the engine used by the C250 CDI BlueEfficiency.



Mercedes C250 CDI BlueEfficiency Prime Edition revealed


Ever thought that Mercedes is sleeping? Well it isn’t and when we thought that the engineers were sleeping the German manufacturer unveiled today its new Mercedes C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Prime Edition. Fitted with a 2.2 liters diesel engine capable to deliver 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque, the car can hit 100 km/h in just 7.0 seconds while the top speed is limited to 250 km/h. You may say: yeah so what’s the deal with this new engine…well, according to Mercedes the Prime Edition only consumes an average of 5.2 liters of fuel per 100 km. The C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Prime Edition model can be delivered in obsidian black, palladium silver or iridium silver and will be limited to just 5000 units, each priced at 40,638.50 euros.



Tuning: Kleeman unveils customized Mercedes CLK 63 Black Series


The Mercedes CLK 63 AMG from Kleeman dedicated to those customers who want more power for their already tuned CLK. Boosted to 545 hp and 675 Nm the customized Mercedes features the Kleeman 63-K2 tuning kit consisting of a set of high flow exhaust manifolds with matching downpipes and 200-cell steel sport catalysts and a remapped engine ECU. The kit remained the same thanks to the AMG engineers but the wheels were replaced with new 20” 3 piece Kleemann TS-6 wheels, 10” wide with 255/30 tires on the front axle and 11” wide with 305/25 tires on the rear axle.
